WHAT IS A HOME INVENTORY?

A home inventory is a detailed list of the personal property or assets located in your home, including pictures. You should also include property that you have stored elsewhere, perhaps in a garage or storage shed. Your list should include: furniture, jewelry, antiques, artwork, appliances, kitchen contents, clothes, carpets, drapes, computer equipment, television sets, CD players (and other audio or audiovisual equipment), musical instruments, clocks, mirrors, linens, lawn mowers, snow equipment, tools, sports equipment, collectibles and any other items of value.

A business inventory conceptually is very similar in that it is professional business related assets that are inventoried. Everything from office furniture, computers and items in the break area all fall under the heading of business equipment.

  Burglaries.....Thieves can invade our lives when we least expect it. Additional pain and grief may start when we deal with our Insurance Company as they ask for proof of ownership of our valuables. This is why we include INVIS-ID.

 

Trusts, Wills and Estate Planners.....Ensuring the accuracy of the estate will maximize the benefits of the levels of protection.

Relocations.....Having an inventory done prior to having the movers arrive will enable you to show proof of any loss or damage of goods during the move. If they break it or loose it you should not be held liable. (Inquire about of flat-fee military PCS program).

HOW DOES IT WORK?

We capture the details of your personal property in our secure, state-of-the-art business software. Our software is the professional version of the inventory software provided to the recepients of the ABC program

 

We provide two key reports: Home Inventory by Location & Home Inventory by Category so that you can easily view your property details. These reports are tailored to compliment an insurance claim process.

We finalize your inventory and provide you with the following items in our comprehensive package:

  • Detailed Home Inventory Reports (By Location & Category)

  • Data CD containing data for the Protection Plus software to import and all digital images from your inventory on to your home computer.

  • Client Information Package containing the following documents :

1.    Getting the Most out of Insurance Claims

2.    Insurance Do’s & Don’ts

3.    Monthly Home Protection Tips

4.    Protecting Valuables with Photo Records

5.    Home Improvement Payback Tips

6.    Estate Planning Guide

We store your report in a secured, fireproof location for one year. Our “SAFE STORAGE PROGRAM” is available annually after that for a fee of only $29.  All information stored by us is confidential and shared only with those whom you authorize... *GUARANTEED*

 

FEE FOR SERVICE

Our fee for service is determined by the square footage of your property.

HOMES, CONDO'S & APARTMENTS *

     0-1500 square feet:              $249

    1501-2500 square feet:          $299

   2501-3500 square feet:          $349

3501 and up:   An on-site consultation is required

BUSINESSES *

$85 an hour. An on-site consultation is required

It is not uncommon for us to invest 10-12 hours compiling & finalizing your home inventory. We pride ourselves on providing the most complete & comprehensive inventory available today!   * Garages are extra

 

SPECIAL PACKAGES AVAILABLE

We also offer custom packages for the individual need. Are you looking to protect your jewelry collection. How about that Coca-Cola, model cars, Precious Moments or gun collection. How about only those items (Grab & Go) that are popular with burglars. If it has a power cord and a serial number we have got you covered!  Our fee schedule starts at $85.00 an hour (one hour minimum).
